Solid game. The double flip shit is annoying though but this fake flip was perfect. Felipe tricks are text book minus his tre flips.

I agree with this, but I of course understand the strategy.

My favorite games are when the winner simply outlasts his opponent. I want to see them do every flat ground trick they know how to do, saving the wild stuff for the very end.

I envision it as something along the lines of a laundry machine breaking down or the hot water heater going out.  Pretty important, but not full-on emergency.

He gets this news as he looks at that awful, nightmarish SWAY ENERGY DRINK A-frame thing for the 800th time and something in his brain just snapped and he thought “I’m Carlos Ribiero, I don’t need to be here.  Fuck these guys.  I gotta get this hot water thing figured out.”

At least that’s what my Batb fan fiction is going to be.

Sewa was getting skunked and resorted to double flips, no doubt about it.

That's SKATE tho. If you can win with pressure flips double flips are allowed.

It’s a game, or battle if you will. Some of you seem to want a format where each contestant would run through a list of basic tricks in order and see who racks up more fails. Except it wouldn’t even need to be head to head, each contestant could just fill in their sheet of tricks by themselves, remote even. Sounds shitty to me. *shrugging man with a moustache emoji*

I don’t encourage the double flip either but it’s not like he came out the gate with them. They rifled through a shit load of tricks and sewa was tilting a bit so why not go to your old faithful and get a letter and some confidence back.

Honestly, for an influencer bracket that was pretty entertaining with decent skating. Shrimpdaddy has good style.

Did the bloody mary dude just do two random tricks and take a letter instead of attempting them? Very surprised a dude with the name Shrimp Daddy was the more mellow of the two.

This whole BATB has been one shitshow after another. I had to sign up and join in the convo because I feel like this is the only place people are actually noticing how ridiculous this spectacle is.

Chick tells you dinner will be ready when you get home from work.
Walk into kitchen and smell the salmon cooking.
Then you realize the salmon is skin side up.

This season has been full of cringe yet somewhat fun to watch. The commentary here is no different.

That some of you are tuning in to this event sponsored by Cariumuamua & hosted at berra’s own celebrity center skatepark while expecting sportsman-like conduct and maintaining criticism of  “illegal tasteless” tricks is very surprise pikachu.

Those ideals were appropriate during the early years and we’ve seen who had the cream to rise.

I’m glad they’ve tried to innovate the format of SKATE every year to prolong the show and this year reminded me of all those Sasuke reruns on G4.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IuvF_2Nxxg0

These influencers are the wackly hopeless characters invited to flop around stage 1 for our amusement.

Skategoat, burrberry, “shrimpdaddy”  ::) ...

Shoutout to Vallely for jumping the shark early on.

Why am I not surprised that Erik Bragg is the type who yells and cusses when he misses tricks in a game of skate?

People have been very negative of Eric Bragg for years now but to me he’s a harmless goofy skateboard-internet-show host so I assume I have missed something. What is his claim to fame?

This game was nowhere near the worst we’ve seen this season and in my opinion it would be better is the whole influencer bracket was dumb goofing off like this instead of the scared shitless nerveballs with the demeanor of a pro and trick bag of a rando plucked from the nearest skate park.

God damn the bits with the shrimp cocktail and the boxes had me rolling on the ground in stitches.  Great, great stuff.

How about Felipe trying to blow the whistle while it was still in the packaging?
