Because they are probably getting a decent size bag putting the finals exclusively on this redundant streaming service. Sure they could probably generate some decent revenue sticking with the 300Kish views they get with BATB on Youtube but any streaming service that launches these days is gonna live and die by their exclusive content so locking up the BATB12 Finals isn't the worst idea I've heard.

We've had ONE match in the past month, and it was a crappy bait-and-switch substitution job meant to replace what was, in all likelihood, the most anticipated match up of the first round.

I checked them more than thrasher at one point. Preferred the lighthearted skating and bullshit. Now it is such a money grab.
It’d be better if they were up front with all these companies that they obviously have a hand in, instead of selling them as legit skate companies.

I feel the same way and I noticed that their recent uploads barely get 40.000 views, which is pretty low considering the 1.3 Million subs

Another update with Koston saying they have to bump back finals night, due to it taking so long to get the battles done, and Berra rambling about pushing on through and making sure they complete the objective.

To know I'm going to miss out on the finals for the first time ever because there is no way in hell I'm downloading Caffeine is just sad.

So I need to install a whole other app and sign up for their service to watch the live show? Eh...I think I'll just wait for it to be uploaded on YT.

Let's feed the app with people, so they can catch up on old footage and other content that may or may not come anytime soon.
