@pizzafliptofakie hit up berra in his dms and get him to let me ref this shit next year. you seem to get his attention pretty well, and these fools are in need of some serious regulation.

I am not understanding anything from this BATB edition.

Have the finals already happened??

Who eliminated P-Rod and Luan???

This is the worst BATB ever, its a total disgrace.

This is what I was just wondering... so it's over? They just skipped games and went straight to a final game between these two?

luan was eliminated by sewa
p-rod apparently caught covid at CPH open and therefore couldn't make it to finals. cole who was previously defeated by p-rod then took his spot.

The only open question for me is how did they get Chris Cole to do all that? He never even wanted to be there and then they made him come back to lose another game.

Did he do it for the love? Did he have fun? I hope he got paid

The only game that was good from this edition and maybe will be remembered in the future was P-Rod vs Nyjah, all other games were really lame and painful to watch.

I hope The Berrics come back again properly because I used to really like to watch BATB and I hope this is not the end of an era.

The Torey and Malto game was actually really good too. Went most of the game without any wack tricks.

I hope MACBA gets bigger and has more pros competing. The format is way more fucking entertaining than traditional flat ground SKATE. And then nobody needs to endure Berras infuriating levels of awkwardness.

I want to say that Berra was joking during the p rod vs Chris cole game when he said batb13 could be all the final round folks from 12 but at this point i just don’t know. Seems he just reeks of stupid ideas

What level of autonomy do we think Borra has there these days?

As not the majority-stake owner, seems he'd have to clear any marketing/events/literally anything that spends money with someone, right? Show some data? I'm not their target demo by decades now, but I can't imagine much positive growth trajectory in their viewership/engagement/revenue.

At the very least, Hypebeast should hire some sort of Borra gatekeeping consultant.

He's not really involved in the day-to-day of The Berrics anymore. He's spending a lot of time seeking out influencers to partner with in his new role as chairman at the Berra Institute of Technical Content Harvesting.

I have it on good authority that borra still steers the ship, and everyone involved with the partnership is kinda scared of him. Every creative decision that seems to reek of lameness? Yes, that's still him. Just look at the bose stuff.

The worst decision Berra ever made was choosing the Banana Republic suit and not getting in Heath and Jeremy's part in The End.

It's all been uphill from there, no?
Is it true?  Or did you read it on the slap message board?
