Whys the Lakai Telford on such a terrible sole?????

Got the new Telfords stoked to have a Dunk substitute thats actually available to buy and i skate these things one time and my knees and back are toast. How could Lakai not even bother putting a wearable sole on what is supposed to be a high top cupsole? They could easily have a large portion of the dunk market but the shoe is less supportive than a thin vulc. $85 for a high top with less support than a slip on. LAKAI, PUT A BETTER, SUPPORTIVE, ACTUAL CUPSOLE ON THIS SHOE PLEASE!!! End rant.

Lol I know. I mean a large portion of people who want to actually skate in the dunks and not resell them. No doubt alot of people that wouldnt normally wear a lakai shoe are interested in the telford or trying a pair as a dunk substitute.

Idk what you're talking about. I absolutely love the shoe. The sole is amazing and pretty easy to break in.

curious which ones you have?

I have the first release dark blue cameo, and I got the current season black/black/gum. The dark blue cameo soles do feel like shit, but the newer ones don't. I haven't skated my newer ones yet, but they feel like a better shoe all around. I'm thinking they may have improved production from one season to the next, which isn't uncommon with these smaller brands.

I got the Gass Telford and they are gas. Best quality shoe I've had in a while.
