Shams and XLT reissues in 2021 would actually be a smart business move for them in 2021, maybe some rapid weld updates in high wear areas?

Perhaps Vans could also reissue these gems while they’re at it
Or the greco force ones

It's partially by happenstance cuz I was a huge Emerica guy, but I think I had more of Reynolds' shoes than any other pro from any company.

Hell yeah, Reynolds has always had solid designs. The Reynolds 2 & 3 will always have a special place in my heart. Especially the “brown and bling bling” colorways hahaha

Gonna have to agree with everyone and say Reynolds

I'd say Ishod had the best colourways and one-offs. he's done a lot of dunks and bruins and everything else under the sun by Nike

Rowan only has one out but I will most likely check out anything else he designs because that first shoe worked so well for me.

I forgot about Silas! I had a pair of those in brown and they were really nice. I dig the shams a lot too, vans could just about re-release any of Rowley's shoes and they would probably sell pretty decent haha

you sir, have great taste in shoes!
Shams and XLT reissues in 2021 would actually be a smart business move for them in 2021, maybe some rapid weld updates in high wear areas?

Perhaps Vans could also reissue these gems while they’re at it

Never had those but Dollin’s No Skool shoes skated amazing! I’d take another pair of those any day of the week. Vans had a pretty wild signature shoe line up back then compared to now hahaha

Greco’s 3 (to the best of my knowledge) Vans shoes back in the day all looked so completely different from eachother. I’d love to get my hands on a pair of those greenish-blue leather Escobars in my size someday.  Such a different era of skate shoes where you’d have to literally figure out how to skate in each shoe you bought before everything was slimmed down, thinner, and more practical (albeit less forgiving on your feet).

How I long for the days for Vans to finally reissue some more gems like these. From the looks, the Rowan pro passes the eye test of a  'rowley sham' never tried them on but the silhouette looks super similar.
Alex Olson never had the makings of a varsity athlete.

I usually only back pros first shoe, Reynolds is an exception, MJ great first, koston great first, Kenny anderson good first shoe, as far as which pro designs the best I’m gonna say Cab, the half cab is the best skate shoe ever, and the dive was alright, then they made the low cab which was good too

Busenitz adidas shoes have been pretty top-tier.

Best shoe for me since my comeback to skating altho the new Puigs were not half bad.

Salvador Lucas Barbier.

The classic Sal Barbier 23 was one of my favorite shoes back in the day, second only to the Duffs Kareem Campbell Kicks.
why come?

Surprised no one has shouted out Muska.
I liked his first pro model on eS; haven’t skated anything else he did but dude made some legendary kicks.

Kalis and Reynolds for me.

The DC Kalis S and Vulc have been my go to shoe for the past year. S if I'm feeling old and need more impact support, Vulc if I want to feel tech-y and work on more flip tricks. Lots of colorways for every taste and the older ones are often on clearance, so you can get a pair for very cheap if you're patient.

Rowan only has one out but I will most likely check out anything else he designs because that first shoe worked so well for me.

Came here to say the exact same thing. Probably strongest debut shoe model of anyone in years IMO

Joslin, maybe not the best, but his models and design input work!

Joslin 1 is a simple, but workhorse quality shoe. His second shoe is practically a dunk-a-like and skates just as good, if not better than dunks. People are snoozing on those.
