If this is true it should be him.  Would love for someone to make a compilation of all his footy this year, it’s probably twice what anyone else has put out, and definitely SoTY-calibre skating.

I feel that from him too. He always drops footy at the end of the year hoping to get the award. Its seems so calculated and unauthentic. I love his skating and parts but he needs to give less fucks about SOTY if he ever wants to get it.

Then he got injured, he fucked up on Insta and only posted one trick since.

When I was kinda stranded in Philly for a few months at the beginning of the pandemic I used to skate by the spot at 0:51 on my way downtown/Paines and think about how far beyond my ability it is and how insane it would be to see it done. It was indeed insane to see it done

You need to add he join Nike - I don't want to discuss Nike as a brand - but for most of the
Riders joining nike is like entering a black hole footage wise.

That spot used to be a strip club and we'd always look at it coming out drunk thinking it'd be sick to ollie. I think Kyle Nicholson ollied it and possible front 180'd it some years ago.

We're halfway through 2021. Mason was consistent throughout 2020 with a part per quarter. We really haven't seen that yet and SOTY seems up for grabs. The list of people who have a window as of now:

• Grant Taylor: LA takeover was sick, Thrasher favorite
• Roman Pabich: Up and comer, hell rider, homies parts, trick of the year
• Chris 'Cookie' Colbourn: Puts out the most, best footage: X Games, Worble, hours of IG etc
• Dashawn Jordan: Toy part was sick, ripped Xgames gold, well liked with peers.
• Zion: Brings home gold, it might be a wrap.
• Fred Gall

All solid suggestions. I love Cookie's move to Worble plus the Cobra Man collab. Dashawn Jordan's part still blows my mind. Jack O'Grady needs more love.

But really it should go to Fred. Is there a more positive story in the industry right now? Getting clean, still skating hard, staying true to his hometown. Such a good story.
