Does SC make multiple steepnesses? I think half of what keeps me from branching out to Dwindle wood is shit like that racking my brain when I kinda know what I get with BBS.
SC keeps it pretty simple, very consistent med kicks (but a tad steeper than most BBS), mellow-medium concave. Creature is where you find a different concaves from medium to their 'classic' whatever that is supposed to be.
As BFRD mentioned, they are stiffer than a bbs/PS board and have a different feel overall, not as much flex (but they do eventually); pop lasts longer than BB and waaaaay longer than PS; be warned: skating anything else after will feel and sound waterlogged/sogged out.
One thing about DSM/NHS you can count on their dims being 100% consistent board to board/run to run. Without fail. Everytime.
This is my goldilocks 8.28 (It's usually the Henry Gartland shape RIP). They do make an
8.27 with a 14.22 WB, nose and tail are shorter, no idea if it's the same shape).
