I wanna say he was skating a 34" board or something crazy like that during that era.[close]I love that so much about Fred. There are some nice clips of Matt Reason in this video starting at around 2:16. I never knew how beautiful his feebles were before watching this. There's also some really sick Donny Barley stuff. Was he the skater who introduced backside kickflip wallrides to the 90s?

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year
Using the energy of this thread to manifest 58mm and 60mm conical fulls in skate shops.EDIT: it really is tragic that the most readily available 58s are OJs.

Also, we can’t forget the other link in the Philly trilogy, that is Jerry Fischer, hard to find pics of him but he rode monster wheels/ boards too along with Matt and Fred!***My fav current big wheel rider is: Sure he’s only on 56s, but he makes loopholes look so rad!!!

↑ that’s fine (and I agree), I just meant that Matt, Fred and Jerry nearly all looked identical at one point; hair tucked behind ears, beanie, dark t-shirt, jeans, half cabs and big wheels!

They looked that much alike.

The big long backside 50 180 is Fred from memory, but yeah, hard to distinguish those three during those days… that was the trilogy I was talking about

I think 3 posts in a row constitutes playing with myself The fancy lad has 60mm classics and 1/4 risers, pop feel is heavy but ollies are higher on this than any other setup I ownThe polar has 61mm OJ team riders and 1/4 risers, square tail makes popping the tail a little easier and the shorter wheelbase makes this one more wel suited to tight transition and weird spots
