bummer. was better off guilty by association flow (żaflowciation?) via reynolds and skating in halfcabs. looked good

Tbh this shit is destined to not even actually drop...wish herman the best but this shit is ass.

odds are the samples will eventually be sold at the Pharmacy location he owns and hell go back to free vans/shelltoes.

This smooth brain take is exactly why major corporations are gutting skateboarding. Herm is one of the greats, let him make a run at it. Skateboarding would be WAY better off with another skater-owned brand than some more Nike garbage which is ACTUALLY ass.

those slip ons look awesome.

also hrs and hours used to be one thing im pretty damn sure. saw herm and Ellington working on it. if not its Mandela effect and stupid close names. seems like they split because of differences.

This is where im at with the brand(s) too.
If this was the case it seems like a mighty strange move for the leaving party (Herm?) to stick with a name so close to other.

idk all these shoe upstarts just look like the "sneaker" options of some shop like Aldo or Zara. whatever factory doing the white label "sneaker loafer" got to be making a mint since every fast fashion chain has a nearly identical model

not wrong but lets see what happens.  this could be cool

The brown slip-ons are sick and I think in some different colorways the two tone ones could be dope. Im not really feeling the other model except for the white with a black sole, but thats more so because its a white shoe with a black sole.

I am a huge fan of Herman, but both of these models just look like weird recycled Supras.

I believe there was a Double E that had the same two tone effect, and the slip on is basically the Cuba.  Hoping they find a bit of an identity and create some unique stuff, but never the less I won't complain if this means more Herman footage.

These don’t look too bad, the two tones in the background look better though. They say fashion forward, so can someone explain the difference between fashion forward and trendy?

Loafers seem more early/mid 10s, whereas the Two Tones look more like what kids are starting to skate now.

Bryan Herman has an amazing skate style, but I can't say I ever took styling cues from him. Good luck. I takes a lot to make a biz like this work.

Yes but that was a homage to first Emerica model that was two toned to have a sort of "dipped in paint" look and  Ellington said the idea for wanting the dipped looked for his Emerica's were from Allen Iverson 4s (picture of the Reeboks below)

Those black with the white sole and white with the black sole  with the one lace looks dope. Would buy either and wear them to look nice or too skate.

Had a second hand pair of his 2nd Emerica in the brown / black toebox.
Comfortable, skated very well, lasted for one goofy skater and one regular skater (me) plus they went with goddamm every outfit.

https://hoursisyours.com/pages/hours-is-yours-collection-1-look-book

some close ups via facebook:

and another shoe they're teasing:

assuming shoes are dropping soon if they're putting out ads. fb says they're in the $80-$90 range.

I just googled Bryan Herman Emerica 2 and the first payed ad is fucking Carry-ooma or whatever that Scientology bullshit is.

Zenu must pay for every keyword related to any skate brand on Google ads.

I got the grey black with green collar from a friend and they were one of the most comfortable and best shoes I’ve skated in too.

Came here to ask the same thing.
It’s almost as if these guys aren’t aware of the vast realm of other possibilities in the dress shoe universe.

I just want to see the G-Codes come back, whether its Herman getting rights for the design or Emerica re-releasing it under a different name. That shoe was immaculate.

It's what skaters imagine nice slip ons to be... they don't want to wear Vans or Dylans so they make a fancy skate loafer

No offense to BryHerm, but I think I’d prefer to skate in them tech-loafer jawns that @Watson designed for Globe, as Austyn Gillette’s pro model shoe.

I still want those damn loafers Watson.

This is why I had to unfollow that skateshoedreams insta account.  I got tired of getting super excited about a new eS model only to be disappointed it wasn't a real shoe.

Don’t toy with my emotions, those are clearly Chet IV’s in slipper form and I like it.  Will cop immediately.  Austin’s will have a heel not air bags.  Thank you for your impeccable sense of humor gnarred!
