Why in Old videos can you hardly hear the skateing

Was watching the hd upload of photosynthesis the other day for the first time but found it really hard to watch cause the is next too no skate sounds in it kinda made the whole video feel like a fan edit, it’s the same in a lota -2002 videos why is that?

thats how its supposed to be. otherwise its just loud ass skating over a quiet song. it sounds dumb in videos now when it sounds like theres a mic in the handrail or the sound is way over-produced in post.

Example of that weird post audio is all over nyjas til death part. so bad. its like a dubbed kung fu movie or something.

Nah I agree with the over production but in all the early alien vids the vx audio is there but it’s been turned down so much u can’t hear anything sometimes n it’s just really strange to see someone grind a ledge n not hear it feels very unnatural

VX has perfect audio. Little Endian. These new cameras man.. over modulated as heck on every landing
