When the filmer sucks

Anyone dealt with that before?

When you make a good trick and the filmer is like, "I experimented a bit with the angle and want some hectic and fast movements"
Or when the fisheye is used and it is still managed to cut heads or even boards out of the frame.

Not sure how to tell him, because he can't handle critique and there isn't really anyone else to film with.

Buy him a second camera and a tripod and get those 2nd angles

Always a tough one.. A way you could say it without coming off rude. Be like "I was thinking it would be sick if you filmed it like this" or something like that.

I am far from being great at filming but my friend who skates films like hes never watched a video before. I'm filming a part for him but basically just don't expect to try any tricks myself when it's just me and him.

Just tell them you didn't like the way it looked. I'm sure the filmer knows it doesn't think it looks good either. Theres no reason to sugar coat it.

There's no better way than just being honest, since that's how I got better as a filmer. Otherwise I'd probably just keep doing what I was doing and making shaky ass footy haha.

Some good tips so far. Thanks pals. But that guy is super sensitive with criticism and I am absolutely not a person who wants beef. We will see.

I have to get this off me now. I just can't stand arrogance.

Tried to strike a conversation with constructive criticism. And he is absolutely not able to respect others opinions. Saying things like, "my fame goes up" and "I have sponsors asking me". But still being without a job.
I mean, the youtube channel has 25 followers ^^

From the top of my head, I can think of 3 people who make money filming skatevideos. (Strobeck, Greg Hunt and Chris Mulhern)

Am I wrong with that guys/gals?

Doesn't sound like he's in it for the right reasons. Having fun with friends and honing your craft should be the priority, not clout chasing.
