Tricky Trick Names

These two bother me, and I don't know why:

• 180 5-0: Why is this not a SW nose grind?
• 180 SW Krook: Why is this not a salad grind?

What's on your list that doesn't add up?

the tricks are named from the orientation youre in when you pop the trick. the same truck is grinded in a 5-0 as is in a 180 5-0, its not a nosegrind.

fair for the 180 5-0.Not the same treatment for a 180 SW Krook - have you ever heard that referred to a 180 salad?

I assume by 180 5-0 you mean "180 fakie 5-0"? If that's the case, I understand the confusion since there is no consistency between that trick name and the 180 switch crook.

If it was consistent you'd have both:
"180 fakie 5-0" and "180 fakie suski"

OR
"180 switch crook" and "180 switch nose grind"

People don't think it be like it is, but it do.

Also, are cab's technically regular(forward(normal?)) since you can't do one switch? Like I get the stance is fakie but it being considered skating forward would make sense for the crook.

I've said it before, but fakie ollie to tailslide.  How you gonna approach frontside and do a backside tailslide just because you're riding backwards?  Same story riding up backside and frontside tailsliding.  Unwholesome.  Just call them backwards frontside and backside tailslides, since even "fakie fs/bs tailslide" is confusing.  Are you talking about the way you rode up, or the trick you ollied into?
