All of Us Strangers was so raw and emotional - recommend it highly.
Zone of interest I wasn't as into it as I was watching - but on reflection it's pretty incredible. Need to rewatch.

Yeah, saw "Dune 2" last night and have to echo the positive reviews. I think my favorite part was when homeboy and Zendaya were taking shelter under the big mechanical legs as they tried to bomb the helicopter. Dope shit.

Went back to watching Gangs of New York the third time around and the ending shows why i like it so much. Best ending in a movie i’ve ever watched.

One of my greatest regrets was not ganking one of the weapon props from the street fights when I had a chance. About 5 years ago, they somehow were stored in carboard boxes in the back of a tiny warehouse in North Hollywood and I helped move the pile into a moving truck never to be seen again. I had no idea they were even there until someone came to pick them up. They weren't even inventoried but I didn't take one because they were made of real metal and were beyond rusty. If I had a safe way to store it I absolutely would have and obviously I'm still torn up about it.

I'm super late on both of these, especially the former, but I finally watched Oldboy (2003) and The Revenant (2015) over the past week. I can't believe I missed these two for so long.

A friend invited me to see Tremors on the bigscreen. That was a rollicking good time. Tonight we’re gonna see The Fugitive since it’s being rereleased temporarily. I’m excited.

War Pony is a top shelf film. Its got you, had me anyways, on this real dark sad trip at points but that ending was a perfect show of resilience w some dark rez humor. Will watch again

I think that was one of James Mangold’s first movies.   Was that the last time Stallone looked normal?

Heavy is really great and sadly pretty forgotten.*

The theatrical cut of Copland had some problems with the edit near the ending and I think that's why the movie is not as well known given who all is in it. Luckily the Director's Cut smooths the weirdness out and it readily available.

*It's on Netflix in the US currently. Circa 2016, it didn't appear to be on streaming at all

I watched the True story of Ned Kelly a bit.

I couldn't get through it. It's way too negative and there's too many similarities to my past 90s realities.

You know before I went full underground to escape the eyes of the system and my natural born enemies it's masters.

I cannot look at the abuse these people had to endure. I was watching it with my Ma and she couldn't look either.

Too close to the truth of the world we experienced 20+ years ago. Also it has The Gladiator in it and mofos used to call me that in jail because we're similar looking.
Plz stop killing each other

I actually watched this for the first time a few months back. I got it confused with Colors years ago as I had remembered friends talking about it but didn't finish Colors and forgot about it. Saw Cop Land was streaming and started it and goddamn was it good, and no fucking joke about a badass cast that actually does good acting. Stallone acting like half a fucking idiot fits him perfectly.

Yeah the first half I thought damn I didn't like seeing him as this half deaf pushover for the corruption but that was some sweet redemption later.  Also fun seeing that brother from Corky Romano, Sopranos mom, Get Your Shine Box guy, T1000, Truman Shows best friend all crush it

For some reason decided to watch Come and See for the second time tonight.  Completely forgot how a lot of the scenes in the first half really have a surreal feel to them with the strangeness going on. By the end you feel as wrecked as the kid so it's not something I remembered anymore but damn that movie is incredible start to finish
