Hopefully Penta headed to WWE. Very hopeful for that. He’s peaked in AEW as a high end Jobber & a trios champ.
[close]

I don’t think he’s going to become a big singles champ in the Fed.    They already literally have more Latino wrestlers than they know what to do with
[close]

I could see him getting into NXT & being the North American Champ. Gunther stated Penta has the hardest hit in the game so I’d love to see it in “the Fed” instead of him being wasted on Rampage. Another trios run for him would be beyond boring.
[close]

Why do you keep calling him a trios wrestler?  He’s more known as a tag wrestler with Lucha Bros, but Penta had to pivot bc of Fenix getting hurt.

I also don’t see a 38 y/o life time wrestler winning the middle belt in the fed’s developmental brand the achievement you do or that NXT is an acceptable place for a Penta or an Okada to go to.

As soon as Rey was back & Pac returned, Death Triangle was the immediate angle AEW started to take. Otherwise, Penta is is losing to whoever.

So what are your thoughts on Ethan Page then seeing as he’s in NXT?

Let’s also add that NXT regularly beats AEW shows in ratings so a statement oozing absurdity about Okada & Penta over there again shows me you know little about good wrestling and/or long term development in wrestling.

Furthermore, I watch AEW regularly & enjoy aspects of it. So save that argument.

Ethan page is a guy who kinda got over in TNA with his karate man, but never really was attached to a storyline or wrestler that mattered in AEW.   Seems like a nice guy, but also seems like he’s just there to swap out Cameron Grimes

Ok.  I guess the fact that in demand free agents (MJF, Jay White, Okada, Osprey) keep picking one brand over the other means they don’t know what they’re talking about.    I understand the Fed obviously means something very special to you as you’re giving off big “it’s real to me damnit” energy and I look forward to the main roster hiring every single Pacific Islander wrestler to continue the Bloodline angle

Finally. Thank you for the laughs, lad. And as far as picking one brand over the FED, I know these guys like larger sums of money & less travel. It makes sense in that regard. Tony Khan made that clear when he made Ospreay say that line about "grinding the bosses daughter comment" in reference to them being called out for lighter schedules & more money, Bruv.

AEW is making Swerve look weak…….What a shame.
Last night was decent but Mone with this whole prodigy image & not selling moves is just painfully obvious.

Who Killed WCW was a nice treat afterwards.

Swerve looked like a killer before he won the title. which is a shame, he should have that same momentum now.
Mone does nothing for me. i didn't really care much when she was in wwe either but this whole gimmick makes me care less, starting with the awful entrance song.

I'm a very casual fan of wrestling these days. both AEW and WWE have their faults but both are entertaining.

Nailed it. Swerve used to almost be scary & just ruthless. Here’s to hoping he gets built up but I can’t help to think Ospreay is going to win. Ospreay is obviously light years above Logan Paul but it seems that since he arrived, Khan needed to get a title in him  asap & will just double down since his title is not on the line, very similar to Paul. It’s just silly.

I remember when they put two titles on the Ultimate Warrior it was useless.

CM Punk robbed McIntyre which is great storytelling. Wish Gable would have been our new IC champ but time will tell. Happy he renewed with WWE & avoided AEW.

AEW 8 man tag on Wednesday looks intriguing. Love the Battlebowl style weirdly matched teams.

Me too. It’s all building up, Otis turn tonight on RAW. I really thought Gable would have cinched it but I’m sure there’s more to his build up. Maybe Otis VS Gable VS Zayne VS Bronson Reed at Summerslam as he has heat with all of them.

Uncle Howdy returned with his faction.

McIntyre quit (kayfabe) but still interesting to the storyline.

That Uncle Howdy segment was amazing. Great looking faction w/ Rowan, Lumis, and Nikki Cross.

It’ll take off for sure. They “killed” Chad Gable. Wonder what that means for him….. super interesting that he’s involved with this.

Kazarian & Hendry appearing on NXT is interesting. Looks like WWE is taking a page from AEW for once & having other promotions work with their talent.

i'm really looking forward to see how this goes. the Wyatt family was one of the reasons i started tuning in again when they were around. it bums me out still that Bray is gone. he may not have been the best in the ring but i love "characters" in wrestling and no one did it better.

Follow up to Gable & the Wyatt Sick (6).

There’s no sixth member; I know Gable is a horror buff as he constantly posting stuff in his story. Wild card move but I wonder if he will be involved with the faction…..

I don’t want that but there’s certainly a lot of intentionality behind the faction & him, even as to when the QR code flashed at Clash at the Castle, the references to “thank you” & the doll in his locker room on Monday night before Howdy returned.

Rewatched Styles & Rhodes Clash at the Castle; happy to see Rhodes starting to become more aggressive & a tad more dominant. He really put AJ in his place. Great match.

Jacob Fatu debut. I would love for Solo to dethrone Rhodes. Or just have a lengthy storyline. I want Cody to become more cold & aggressive.

Jacob Fatu debut was awesome. He already is a more menacing heel and threat to Cody than Solo.

Been really impressed with the Wyatt Sicks the past two weeks. The single shot from last week was awesome. The sit down between uncle howdy and Taylor Rotunda was chilling. Looking forward to more.

The sit down was certainly intense. Just to tie the whole death of Bray into it & make it even more real & layered. I think that approach would lure me into it as Bray Wyatt material was not always the easiest for me to get into.

Fenix VS White was a ripper.

O’Reilly needs to start being booked to win. I get it’s Sabre Jr but O’Reilly has it all. WWE messed up with him….

Bron VS Zayne will be a classic. Love them both.
JD & Finn as champs makes sense. Ready to see Finn dethrone Priest at some point OR let’s just get ready for Gunther to take over.
