hey Johnes

did you fully submerge the wheels?
No it was just up to about half way on the wheels with occasional splashing and very slight rotating.
If you fully submerge them, they would def have some color on the entire wheel

I feel like I've posted about this a lot, but I really like doing this. If you use a hot glue gun and make some squiggles, it won't dye where the glue is. I've also noticed the liquid dye works the best.

So I’ve had my hand in dyeing my wheels Ricta naturals, Spitfire Classics, Bones and OJ’s the OJs came out halfway decent and the rest looked like hammered shit letting them boil then soaking. Yes the softer the wheel the more dye retention will last buttttttt...... it looks like shit later on.

Darren Navarrette posted a bunch of wheels being dyed.

Might be getting another run of those 50/50 classics from Spitfire or he's doing them himself to sell though SK.

Did you use the Rit regular liquid or the Rit DyeMore liquid?

I don’t know, I did this on some old PFCs and it was terrible. They felt like wheels left out in the rain. Just ruined em.

I just bought some of the dyemore liquid. I'll report back on my results in probably a few weeks. I'm trying to dye some STF and loophole/NFG MFG wheels.

Did you guys notice any difference in the wheels properties after dying?
Slide? Hardness?

The dyed wheels I had as second hand sets from someone else worked just fine, exactly the same as normal ones, both in Spitfire and OJs.

I see some other comments on here for other wheels that people were not so happy.

Might be something to do with the good urethane working better than the rest, but who knows.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Here's the results so far. I'll come back after I conduct some field testing on the SPF and STF formulas.
