Any Aussies weigh in.  I've always heard Globe is big in AU.  I think is must be b/c I have never seen a pair of Globes in the US that were not on a wall in some mall skate shop.  How do they pay guys like Austyn and Appleyard?  Surf money?

As far as skating goes. A lot of people buy their completes. Their boards (resin 7) are cheap and good quality. They sell a lot of cruisers and longboards too. You won't see parks full of kids wearing the shoes but i've seen guys in Passport hoodies and CT IV's recently haha. But yeah I don't really see their gear much out and about so I have no idea how they sustain themselves.

Wow.  I didn't even know Globe made boards and I'm sure the longboard market is pretty big.

Not sure if Globes are worn amongst skaters here but I reckon a lot of school kids would wear them. I went into a surf shop here and it was like going back to 1998. Walls full of Globes, Quicksilver, Rip Curl etc
Also Globe/Hardcore are one of the major distributors of skate brands, particularly Dwindle brands here. I'd say they would be doing fine financially and are anything but a small brand

Sometimes this dude is beyond corny, but I like how he's just living life to the fullest and his skating is undeniable.

Globe is still around but Ipath isn't.  ???

Globe has always been big in Australia, en had some really good-selling shoes back in the day.

I-Path is a 100 times cooler imagewise, but those designs were too "niche" to keep their boat afloat ...
Let it be known I was a HUGE I-Path fan. But when I rolled up in my cats and the kids started laughing in school/skatepark it was pretty clear this brand wasn't for everyone ...

Cats were awesome but people still looked at those things the same way most of us would look at D3's.

Decenzo's been running FP hard lately, which makes too much sense.

As for Daveeeeeed, I'd go with Airspeeeeed.

That's old footage from 2017. He's wearing cons in recent footage, like here at 3:25

Isn't Louie Barletta semi retired from pro skateboarding? I know he still skates and has a board on enjoi (probably cuz it sells) but I think the prelude to that mini ramp part is that he didn't wanna film parts anymore to try and let the younger guys shine.
