About 2 years ago he changed his instagram from a skating one to a very spiritual one and started calling himself an acolyte

Big fan of his skating when he posts it but he hasnt had a part since Element Peace. Heard he was on Hockey or FA flow and was skating their decks for a bit and also maybe Krooked? I'm trying to remember..

Nassim's trick selection, spot selection, and style are top tier. Ngl, when i had Instagram i was also prone to oversharing as well. Never went on fat rants tho. Maybe he should practice being more mindful.

Really great style and talent. Poor guy. I forget, but didn't he have an interview where he said he quit his sponsors from being too burnt out from the pressures of being a professional skateboarder and the lifestyle involved?

I just googled and skimmed this. I also just skipped through his insta and didn't listen to most of it so I could be wrong on judgement

I'm not really sure if I can relate to what he's saying but I can relate in knowing mental health is a real thing and I'm not sure if he's well wether it be an unlucky hand of cards dealt with chemical/physiological, emotional or whatever else.

I loved his skating and was following him for a while, and while the religious stuff was mild in a ‘this kid is finding himself’ kinda a way, he started posting some weird stuff (i can’t remember what it was, but kooky enough for me to stop following him).

Ace Pelka was a bit of the same, on a natural health vibe, but he was nice enough to get into a protracted argument with me about the danger of Covid. He had some anti-science beliefs, but his heart is generally in the right place, he was never mean or dismissive.

His new Instagram account, @you_are_a_legend_and_more, makes it seem like he's really lost it now. He's one of the best Dutch skaters and seeing him spiral into this weird conspiracy 'enlightened thinking' rabbit hole makes me feel sorry for him. He was posting some weird shit during the pandemic but it seems to be getting more extreme as time passes.

Bummed to hear things might not be too wonderful for him.  Dude is insanely entertaining to watch on a skateboard: skates super fast and powerful.

I thought that fs 3 shove in his element part was really cool.  Don’t really see those too often.

The other thing about his skating that is so impressive is that he lands 6 feet past the end of the stairs whether it’s a grind or huck.  He has one the cleanest front 3’s in a line in that element part.
