A couple weeks ago he put something on his story about his mental health. I responded just thanking him for being vulnerable and putting himself out there like that because it’s not easy. He actually hit me back with a thoughtful response and offered to talk if I needed it. I said no thanks that’s why I go to therapy, but the fact that he actually responded thoughtfully means a lot. He’s a good guy.

That D Block song he used for one of his earlier parts is one of the dopest rap songs in skate video history

The best trick I've ever seen in person was Wade doing a switch back 50 on a bench. It was mind blowing how perfect it was.

From my limited interactions with him he was a great guy, and I've only heard that from other people.

Wade's legit and glad he's now a Toronto local. It is sick how him and some other skaters have done what they can to keep SkateLoft open, since the winters here are harsh as hell, and its not like you can consistently get away skating the path (and I'm not trying to get arrested at my age) or a covered parking lot.

Yeah, he's one of the best. I said what's up to him in person once. I've also seen him skate in person at Ashbridges and at Dunbat before, and it was pretty great. He's super friendly with the kids, too.

He's also humble, I think he's always been that way. It's not a bad quality to have.

His Top Dollar part is one of the greatest Canadian skate parts of all time, and one of the best street parts of that era. Ottawa has had a pretty solid group of dudes come up, past present and probably future, for as small of a city as it is.

Not to blow him up or anything, but I think he's 37 or going on 38 as well. Which is pretty incredible. The fact that he was a karate champion as a kid is awesome too.

The D-Block part has to be one of the best ever. He handled that blue Miami ledge like it was nothing.

And the fits don’t even look that baggy anymore. The footage in the true blues is imprinted on my brain forever. Also the NBA jeans. So fresh. God status.

I've been a fan ever since that switch flip front feeble on the LA high rail.

I remember seeing him in Toronto. He was always polite. If my board ever got away from me at Dunbat, he'd be cool and send it back to me (a small gesture but small things can be meaningful).

I remember he was at a Lakai demo at Dunbat park. He sat down in the audience and watched. I thought that was really cool.

Finally, I saw him in Montreal trying to get a really cool line the other day at the top of Mont Royal. He never got it, but it would have been an amazing line.

I love when people bring up world hunger. It makes everything meaningless.
"That guy is double parked."
"Who cares? There are people starving to death! Besides, how does that affect you? Does it lessen the joy of parking?
