Getting SOTY doesn't disqualify you from getting it in the future. Ishod could easily get it again if he wanted to. Doubt its him this year though.

Be cool if a female gets it. Alexis Sablone but I think her last part was 2020. Maybe . I know Yuto is obviously the dude at the forefront of skateboarding but how it looks to me is 2021 is the year skateboarding became something for everyone and wasn’t so much of the boys club it used to be. Maybe that happened in 2020. Maybe it hasn’t happened yet. As long as Johna Hill never gets it I’m not really gonna care too much. You can’t win

And I think they won't give it a second time to gt or kyle even though they both had insane parts this year. Was the deathwish video this year? Then probably pedro if he puts out another part this year.

Jack O, Louie and Yuto all need another part to seal the deal

Yuto needs a heavy HD part to cement him as a street skater after the Olympic win. He's had an amazing year no doubt

Louie is on a Mason-esq tear and very well could drop 2 more parts before the end of the year

Jack's part was fucked but not fucked enough for his single offering of this year. He had a bit of footy in the Nike Melbourne but it was overshadowed by others. I need something more for him to be my pick

John Dilo and Cookie are both guys who deserve it but I feel wont get it just due to them being such nice guys. The Suciu effect..

Also been saying this all year; DO NOT count out Carlos Ribeiro. Clipper sw noseblunt Thrasher cover and he's been stacking clips all year for his suspected last part in the Primitive video. Judging by the photos, it could be the heaviest part we've seen this year.
