From what I've seen from recent people's accounts getting hacked, they get scammed themselves and part of that is them filming some sort of verification video or saying the scam works as they're falling for it too. Can't say if that's what happened here with Joey or not though. Good luck OP.

Tbh I got pulled over leaving Syracuse for “speeding” (was going 70 in a 65). I definitely smelled like weed and this was 2011 so it was still very illegal. He let me go and I knew he knew it was weird I gave it a friend to hang on to for awhile cuz I wasn’t sure and I’m pretty sure someone showed up to his house took it and gave back as not to scare me too much.
