Seems like he brings some good energy to the session.

After watching these bsides and Shane’s, I can’t help but remark at how consistent they are. Even the bails are near makes.

Insane how he lands dead bolts perfect on 98% of his tricks.  Like mathematically the best anything could possibly be landed; while also skating huge shit and doing extremely difficult tricks.

Anyways, I when I was watching, I was wondering about the language barrier.  It looks like he’s got a little bit of English, but maybe not enough to fully express himself.  (Of course, I could be dead wrong and he speaks English just fine for all I know).

Does he hang out with other Japanese speakers?  I’d imagine it might be a little lonely for him if he is only around English speakers.  There’s a big difference between having some useful phrases and being able to have an in-depth, nuanced conversation about your life, beliefs, worldview etc.

I used to teach ESL, so I know that English can be a real bitch to learn as it’s a cobbled-together mess of nonsense, broken rules and exceptions; so Im always impressed when someone gains any degree of proficiency at all.

Hardly felt like a Rough Cut, even his toughest tricks didn't look like it wrecked him. With guys like Mason Silva you can see them get broke off repeatedly with multiple trips down (different deck and outfits). But Yuto looks like he barely struggled.

Holy shit he is too good. Also some incredible VX filming in this. This might be a case where I prefer the rough cut. The attempts add some intensity.

Hahaha this was so good. Him swearing all the time is the best shit in a while. Was thinking he's the nice boy olympian.

Super dope to see some personality.  Laughed at the clip of nollie flip crooks and him watching it on his phone. Man was hyped as should be  8)
