Well not really an era that produced videos in a frequency as the years to come but my alltime favourites are:

H street's "Shackle Me Not." and "Hocus Pokus" really set the standard.

Glad to see those ones already listed.

Maybe I was a bit sheltered but I recall only seeing most of these after the fact (being 10 to 15 years old in that period of time) but these were the most common that I recall, in order of local interest:

Powell / Bones videos
Santa Cruz videos
H Street videos

Funny to think how many companies did actually do videos from that era I still have never really looked into, that would probably be a good watch, eg only saw Sick Boys in its entirety last year I think.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

the powell 'feature' vids are hit and miss, theres a lot of cheeseball shit in there, but theres also some gems, like this one:

nice trivia fact, the ERIN sticker he points to was his gf at the time, now his wife.

Turns out all the videos I like are actually from 91 but the footage is probably from 90 and is all before bpsw so
Life- soldiers story
Blind- video days
Planet earth- now n later
G&s- stun
These ones sort of cap off that era

Vert button breaks on that one. One of the best.

Rubbish Heap is essential. Mike V should skate vert again.

story time

so early 90s Mike shows up at our skate park in rockford il (rotation station), we have a vert ramp with steel plate, gnarly as fuck (any ramp back in those days painted blue was gnarly in some way or another).  So I show up to watch mike skate it, but it was raining so mike and ed templeton head inside to skate the street course which was mostly quarter pipes, half plywood, half masonite. theres a video out there of it i cant find at the moment.  all the local street skaters were acting unimpressed, but after that demo the shop couldn't stock his barnyard deck fast enough (the famous double shovel) it was constantly sold out.  Made me feel better watching him eat shit on half the course, I realized we did'nt suck that bad, it was just that hard to skate what we had.

ill try to find the vid

heres a vid of the blue ramp instead
