I have like 20 blanks from H&M in different colours. Can pick them up for around $5.00. Don't like logos so it works for me. I wear a hat once then wash them in bulk a couple times a month.

Ebbetts, especially the cotton twill ones. I have a killing floor “this planet is doomed” sun ra hat that fits incredibly well for a skate hat.

Tillak Wallowa Camp Hat, Lightweight Nylon 5 Panel Cap with Snap Closure https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SV1X41H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_R51FVDC1R6NXFK5738TY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Love this hat. Wash it in my utility sink after every skate session and it dries by the next morning.

The palace PALMA velvet one looks fancy as fuck my man, if you’re willing to spend a little dough.

I've bought quite a few hats from these guys based out of Texas.

Good quality, and I like the southwestern theme they have.

Get hungry on it!

Ebbetts is the best hands down. Best quality hat I think I’ve had. The Polar one in the pic is great too.

I like these. How’s the fit ? I have a giant dome and not every snap/strapback fits.

Ebbetts made local shop hats but I missed out on them, sadly.

Unstructured, brown leather straps, white/off white, etc headpiece with contrasting bill colors. Some characteristics that are my favorite.

A color that doesn't get made enough is Dark brown.
Prime example of ugly on the inside, ugly on the outside.

So I've got a relatively small head, and have a couple of the snap holes open past the end (if that makes any sense). Other than that they fit me pretty well.  Another good thing about them is they do sales fairly often so it makes gambling on one a little less risky.

Get hungry on it!

all this Ebbets talk leads me to this question

how do y'all clean your Ebbets hats? i feel like straight up throwing em in the wash will ruin the material so i haven't cleaned/worn my sweat stained caps in a minute. thinking the ol' throw in a tub with detergent and hot water will do the trick but wanna know if anyone has alternatives

I only own one true strap back and it’s just the classic Wu logo but it fits super good. Tag only says wu so no real info unfortunately. My fav hats are this A’s giraffe new era, Skate Mental Giants parody and I Path Matt Field style hat

They're 100% wool, so they'll probably shrink pretty bad if you put them in the washing machine or use hot water. I'd probably just spot clean with some kind of a rag/towel or a soft brush (soft bristled toothbrush would work), and just a tiny bit of laundry detergent diluted with cool water. The sweatband on the inside, you can give more of a scrub to minimize the gunk touching your forehead.
