Plus there’s so many 50-50s noseslides on curbs like is this rad now? I could show this to cunts at a dive bar that could pull of a shitty boneless or a curb high 5050 hubba I guess it’s in and the children are wrong

What shoe was Justin Henry skating in his clips? The Black Dime Wayvee?
[close]

i think it's his wayvee colorway.

Woah it def is, wonder when that comes out. He makes it look amazing as well as it just does imo

Reminds me of Dylan’s first black leather Huf Shoe

An epic part deserves an epic song. A+ Chima
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

Justin Henry's fits made me mad
[close]
Untuck your shit Justin. Looks like he has a wedgie

I know this is controversial but I agree with you and liked Justin way more before he was pro. I thought his Grand Prairie part was good but didn’t seem as original as his stuff prior and his fits are getting pretty bad. Shorts, tucked in shirt, and beanie is a big no. That’s something my Dad would wear and trust me that is not a compliment.

Dustin Henry has gone off this year! The Alltimers vid and this. Man is a SOTY contender. Let's give a cutie the crown.

that was a rough video to watch. first and last were good and isolate the ET and Dustin footy for a middle montage. the ozzie dude who skates like Massimo is tight too.

Everyone should be acquainted with Simon Zuzic. Such a sick skater with a very unique bag of tricks. Reminds me of Gino.

I see what you mean with the Gino a bit but the similarity to Massimo Cavedoni is unreal. Those knees are almost touching and it looks too good.

Sure, I see it too. Well a mix of Massimo and Gino certainly ain't bad.

I wasn’t so crazy about how sprawling this edit felt. Diego Todd and Nick Michael sort of got lost in the montage. Chima came through like psycho though, and his music was so cool. He has a sort of Reynolds in how he postures and hucks.
I guess I prefer Greg Hunt Vans offerings.

Umm, Nick had the opener, wasn’t in a montage.

This is a Greg Hunt production. They used a lot of contributors, like they usually do, but it was still spearheaded by Greg.

How many others skaters were in his part? It felt really all over the place and watered down to me. But whatever.

It’s true. I’m old and this new Vans offering was definitely not my thing (except Chima’s part). Hoping to see a full Diego part soon.

If I remember correctly, Nicks sister was the only guest trick in his part

There was literally one clip of someone else in his part and it was his sister. His last name is also Michel, which was in big bold letters at the start of his part. Time to get your eyes checked gramps.

Actually you’re right. And I am a grampzzz. His part is just him and his sister. The montage afterwards I thought was also his part and that’s why I was so disappointment in the editing.  You win this round, kid.

Hey - no shame in being old, I’m right there with ya (44). I only liked a couple parts of this whole video myself, Chima being the obvious highlight. Dustin was sick too, and Digby. Nick is sick but not really my style, I prefer more classic ledge/tech guys.

This Simon Zuzic guy had some fantastic tricks and all clean as hell, loved it,  but did anyone notice how close his feet are together when he pops things? Go back and watch it again if you have to lol it honestly threw me off

Isn't that the charm about his skating and the first thing everything he notices? That and him turning completely before he pops. It's insanely unique. I'd never heard of him until the Pass~Port video, and have now watched everything of his. His part in Heavy Mayo is wonderful -

That Sunny Day Real Estate song trips me out. I love it but the whole resurgence of 90s emo in skate videos over the past few years confuses me. Do the younger skaters in these vids actually listen to that stuff? Or is it jammed in by some older editor who wants to indulge some nostalgia? I guess I just assume that was some niche shit that Old Millenials liked, because I never hear it in the streets, at the skatepark, out of cars, at bars, etc.
