Skateboarders have locked down in bunkers sponsored by Monster energy that are rigged with skate stoppers and waxed covered steps, hindering attacks from the radical machines.
A resistance has formed, lead by the prophet and saviour Steve Berra. Using supernatural abilities gained from his Operating Thetan Level 8 in Scientology, he uses his mind control to disable the T-Abec 1000's. The war has begun, Millions of skateboarders perish, though technology has upgraded, 90's getups have been reinforced, the baggy clothing is used has armour and every fighter in the resistance has issued armour plated Osiris D3's that offer incredible protection from projectiles.
The Machines have a weapon. Kidnapping Dennis Busenitz, they harness his speed and create a Time Machine to send a new prototype the WeckingBall 1000 back in time to kill Steve Berra before the war begins, preferably before the Berrics because even AI realises whackness. Humans too have created a time machine using an antenna at the bottom of El Toro, Mark Sucui uses his superior education and self proclaimed intellect to construct a time warp using the speed of a skateboarder launching down the steps and the power of a storm to send someone into the past.... It is rumoured super solider Ryan Sheckler backside flipped into the past on a stormy evening in December... Until he is discovered weeks later at a redbull promotional event in disguise, having lied.
