Correct - he’s been skating blanks due to the pandemic etc. Can’t see Tom leaving Isle anytime soon!
[close]

What is there to leave? The 'company' is entirely propped up by Jacob & Atlantic Drift. What is the last thing Isle has done that was seperate to Atlantic Drift?
[close]

Vase.

What's the last thing any company has done aside from product and the videos they're involved with?? Thats basically all skateboard companies do

Vase came out 6 years ago this month.
I thought it wasnt just him solo, shouldve stuck with my og thought.

How many companies are propped up entirely by something that 'officially' doesn't come from the company? I actually really liked Isle at one stage and wish them nothing but the best, but let's not paint them as something that they are clearly not.

Yea fuck this smaller board company for not doing more during a global supply chain crisis that's being exacerbated by record levels of inflation, in an industry where profit margins on hard goods are slim and most hard goods companies need to sell soft goods to stay afloat. Can't believe isle is like this, I'm shocked and hurt. /s

Just noticed they never posted anything from the Tom Knox part or the Supreme stuff. Remy also been spotted skating a Paccbet board, and Mike Arnold was skating a blank white board with just a Supreme sticker on it in Turkey last week. Not looking good.

I really hope it isn't true. I've been skating their boards pretty frequently and have loved every single one.  :'(

That really sucks. Vase is an all time classic and their graphics were always really interesting.

Wonder where everyone is gonna end up?

All looking for a new board company:
Knox
Casper
Mike
Chris Jones
Remy
Sylvain
Jon Nguyen
Darius

Assume Jensen will retire? If he hasn’t already.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Jacob Harris started something with Atlantic Drift branding.
skating is all about choosing your outfit very deliberately, going out in public. looking super sick. and then riding your board a little bit

gonna be super bummed if Isle is done

that being said, i feel like if it went out of business, it would be one of those former brands that is held in high regards like a Rasa Libre, etc.

This is what every "gone out of business" brand loves to here.

Currently skating a Remy Tav Isle board so I am NOT part of the problem. That said, I would honestly be more into getting Atlantic Drift boards than anything.

Seen Kyron & Casper skating Hockey boards. Wonder if the new company is basically going to have the same shapes as FA/Hockey/Quasi.

Such a clunky shape too! What’s so wrong with a round band aid shape.

I'm a fan of the brand so I hope it's not over, but I don't like the new shape since they are produced by HLC

To be fair, Jensen is the art director and is also a conceptual artist.
