You can get CBT/learn strategies to manage ADHD and other sources of inattentiveness, and it's worthwhile to try before prescription medication. Also sleep hygiene and diet beat caffeine every time

Am I using too much detergent or something? Also I live in a humid climate so that may hinder efforts to use the machine dryer less often
