Yeah, he said in a pre-SOTY video the year Milton won that he’d like to win it, it’s a goal for him.

In my opinion, if this upcoming part is good and he gets a cover or puts out more footage, I think he should get it. He works hard, is probably one of the most talented and productive pros out there, so why not?

rodrigo somewhat did this in the firm video too. like his part plays, then bob and you think it’s the last part, then rodrigo again. i think that’s pretty cool actually.

if mark were making an active attempt at soty, we'd probably get another verso. asides putting out a lot of impressive content on his ig, i imagine this scenario more being him having stacked hella footage this year from driving back & forth across the country multiple times that he can drop straight to the point, easily-digestible parts for his sponsors with good skating to make a late, low-key run for it. most of the other top-runners have really only put out one part this year so it's possible he can gain an edge with these.
