Grabbing around the knee? and quiting the stink bug grabs

Any tips for grabbing indys around my knee like a tuck knee not a stink bug grab, I just cant help it like my brain is wired to stink bug grab, also I find roastbeef grabs easier than stalefish. I'm sick of it it's ugly and I gotta do something about it lol. Most of the skating I do is kicker ramp skating not tranny though.

I think grabbing further back and boning things out a bit would help at first. Also, just feel it out stationary to get comfortable with how it should feel.

Focus on swinging your arm into the grab instead of reaching straight down.

Grab closer to your back toe and move from there. Sometimes its your upper body not your lower

Try a few early grabs to get the feel of it.

You can also grab and then tuck mid air. You don't necessarily have to wrap your arm around the knee before you grab. Watch some 80s vert slow mo clips.
