I actually loved the filming. Takes some skill to catch weird stuff going on in the surrounding and then instantly focus on the skater without messing up and vice versa.
He is a good observer.

And he presented it in a way that made it kind of serious but still fun. Not like beagle does with the skits and high jinx.

Really caught a candid and intimate nyc city vibe in a way i have seldom seen before.
Like street photography but with integrated gnarly skateboarding. I appreciate that.

Donnie Piscapo looks….. different. Did he have an injury or something???

Louie is the best. Ever. I don’t think anyone can skate as good as him atm.

Dude looks like he’s aged real hard. He looked 15 for a decade and now he looks like someone’s creepy cousin who smells like bratwurst and Winston cigarettes.

i always thought youd end up looking healthier once you quit doing drugs but i guess the mental shit going on with you and not having the energie to do things without being under the influence that will make you lazy at first.

It’s only a fake spot when it’s pretending to be real.

Actually this “building” that “Anthony Van Englen” does a “wallride” on is made entirely of foam composite. Hope you both realize you’ve been duped by master of deception George Pukas and his lackeys at Industrial Light & Magic, the people who literally pioneered the modern visual effects techniques of chroma key and wire removal.

This also explains perfectly Steve Berra’s hatred of FA: they beat him at his own game.

Music would've been cool but this was still enjoyable.  Nak did well and the more Diego Todd, AA, and Sage footy the better, but Louie is one of the best on the team and probably top 5 in all of skateboarding.  I don't get Ben K and probably never will but oh well.  Joseph Campos is legit.  SB but has the FA/Hockey team reached maximum occupancy at this point?

He’s on the same level as ishod, except he swapped some high impact skill points for a little more tech wizardry.

I loved Louie Lopez's and Ben Kadow's skating equally, and it's cool that 2 vastly different skaters can fit onto the same team/crew.

He used to remind me of young Elvis, nowadays he looks more like the glitter-suit-wearing king.

really positive surprised about the video.

LL is enjoyable to watch riding a skateboard. This guy arriving in a skatepark would make me sit down,
and watch for the rest of the day. The fakie flip "of the Wall" should gave him 10 signatures models on Vans at least.
Anyway he reach Tom Penny Wizard Status with this move.
Fitzgerald had some nice footage - the froside wallie to 50/50 is something I think about to do since forever -
but never really tried. Next time I find a little higher curb I will try!
AVE skating the city is like watching a wild Animal in the Jungle.

Ben is slowly but surely winning me over. He's overdoing his schtik so hard, so deadpan and with such a conviction that it's becoming admirable. Otoh, if it really his normal demeanor and quirks, than it's awesome, true weirdo. Doesn't hurt that he rips.

i had this realization probably a year ago, i really don't think it's a schtick, like you say he has been keeping it up too long for it to be fake. it really is just him. definitely one of the weirdest and best dudes on a skateboard right now, not one single dude like him in the entire culture. in my opinion he really is like on that Muska tier of true american weirdo that, thank fuck, happens to ride a skateboard and happens to have a camera around to document most of the time.
