John Dilo on Lakai?

I genuinely think I would laugh if I ever saw a pair of Lakai Telfords in the wild.

Not at the wearer specifically, rather just at the fact such a goofy ass looking shoe exists.

Adidas is a good company but do you want to be a 3rd tier pro and probably never get a pro shoe?

 Lakai has a tight crew and i like that riley, jimmy and cody are on the team. Kinda like frankie on primitive. Gives the brand a little depth.

3rd tier pro on Adidas who gets a color way occasionally is probably better than having a pro-shoe on Lakai. But, that wasn't even an option for him if you listen to the Bunt. Funny how Adidas has 2 guys rocking their shoes for most of the year in SOTY contention and neither have been put on fully.

Honestly any footage I’ve ever seen of people in Telfords I can’t help but think “they would rather be wearing dunks but couldn’t get any”.

Dilo is working his way to top tier, slowly but surely. Seems like he wasn't "the guy" that the industry was all about, but now he's becoming one. He's always been good but recently his skills and output have been just ridiculous. I don't think he will be slept on much longer.

He's definitely put in the work and he's fucking good. I know that in skate business that's not enough if you don't have the right image but I feel like the image is starting to be there as well. He's made his mark.

He clearly didn’t impress Ellington, Reynolds or people at Adidas because he was more productive than most flowed by Bakerboys or adidas history.
