Ok, so I’m not a fan. Just was watching his Element Peace part and this dude tries so fucking hard for style. His whole image is played out.

Half half. I like his skating but I always get Mormons first beer vibes from him (even tho I know it's totally not true). There's an sls where he sprays silly string on the park to freak out the squares. Me being a square I also have a dislike for stoner guys. But that's based more personal experience I'm projecting on Evan smith

Evan is tight, he was entertaining as fuck on King of the Road, sick skating, and seems like a genuine dude. Really not sure how you could hate on him. One of my favorite skaters for sure.

it is not (the way) that he portrays himself, it's the way he allows his companies to portray him as such, but that's exactly the point, he genuinely doesn't care and is basically a granola shroom head/ he has a ton happening on the side for him. He started Uma, skated with a pee bag, made a euro pro, probably married and has deep music community ties. AND he doesn't make fun of Suciu.

He's similar to Westgate in my opinion

Evan is great. I can’t relate to his personality or skating but he’s one of the most interesting pros in the current landscape. He’s the opposite of a cool guy and he’s rips. We need him around to humble the allltimers/mean streets/supreme vibes that are quickly becoming pacsun brands.

Nothing boils my blood more than people who don’t have to work real jobs and try to enlighten others about just how chill and deep and beautiful life is. Like motherfucker I know, that doesn’t mean I’m not stressed about having to use my LOC to replace the alternator on my car, so that I can go do something I hate for 40hrs/week… Evan is definitely that dude.

Uma vid was one of the year’s best though, and he def should’ve won soty that one year. Even if he turned it down, they should’ve been like nah you have no choice.
