Budget Fisheye with 43mm Threads?
« on: December 02, 2021, 09:29:31 AM »
I'm looking for a budget fisheye with 43mm threads to use with a Vixia camcorder. Any good recommendations? My old Kenko .43x fisheye has served me well throughout the years, but I'd prefer a solution that doesn't require adapter rings (the Kenko has 37mm threads). It looks like the Opteka OPT-SC43FE is the main option, however, at .3x, I don't think it will be fishy enough for my tastes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yo there is a filming/editing section on slap now. I guess this thread there solves your problem.

This is $60 and it’s what you’re looking for. I have one for my HF20 and it’s great. I’m fairly sure it’s the same exact lens as the Opteka actually, just branded differently. Order one before they go out of stock again.
