I wish my area got more snow during winter so I could snow skate. Looks like a lot of fun. It’s crazy to see these guys taking it to handrails and gaps with legit tricks.

To me, the snow skates with skis on the bottom are way cooler. I guess there’s not as much you can do with one if you live somewhere that’s totally flat though.

pro tip: shovel a dry area for running right before the area where you need snow for runway. put salt down if you have to even. can also do it at the bottom landing area in some spots. if there is ice its pretty dangerous just stepping off wrong you will go flying onto your back. skateparks tend to be some of the best spots for snowskating, but they are often ice rinks of death underneath.

Pretty fucking sick to witness the rise of a rad new sport firsthand. I'd be all over this shit if I still lived up north. Ambition is clearly going places. The gear and spots are way more accessible than snowboarding/skiing.
