couple questions for any Birmingham, AL area locals

I saw that  Southtown court is set to be demolished sometime in the coming months. anyone have a confirmed date on when that's happening? I also saw that the area is currently fenced off. is it still possible to go and skate it before it demolished? I would definitely consider a quick trip out to skate the spot one last time.
