tell us more about what Westgate could do to live up to his potential.
[close]
[close]

Ya westgate is good with made
[close]
he’s good with stay gold honestly
[close]

Ya

I guess i shouldve rephrased my title

I basically meant after debut most guys never put out better or even as good
[close]

Brandon is still killing it 10+ years later.

I don't know what the fuck you've watched for skate videos in your life, but this is stupid

I said made counts as something as good or better than debut (stay gold) so hes a guy that doesnt fit what i was describing

Although apart from made and stay gold its been pretty alright or sparse (which is fair , just saying)

Joslin had that all timer true debut part (stair hucker wise) then never came close again

Durao , Tiago , Luan

Instagram doesnt help obviously but damn are pro skaters lazy street footage wise

I duno about joslin clip wise his album part is far better than true but the editing killed that whole video, I think his difinitive part will be the one in this new plan b video he’s in that age window n supposedly he back 3 kickfliped the Heath kirchart gap

Allen.

Might be aging myself a lot but I remember when Wade’s Top Dollar part came out, Kayo promoted the fuck out of it explicitly saying that it was throwaway, verbatim and to watch out for his ‘real footy.’ Then he dropped a lesser part.
For someone w.no signature ur awfully hostile, & that is why I do this

Marc Johnson mastered the art of the video part. A lot of pros from his era did.

If you watch his early parts it's amazing how much he progressed.  Basically all the superstars from the early nineties who had longevity took their skating to insane levels by the mid 2000's.

Ok you need to do your research man. Austyn Unlimited was not Austyn's first part. Remember he had a part as a grom in Alien's Inhabitants vid. Also had a part in Habitat's Origin. Wasn't until later he had Austyn unlimited. Same with Dylan, he had a TransWorld part and also a part in this little vid called MIND FIELD (haha) before the Gravis part. So these are terrible examples.

I would argue more skaters 'top' their debut parts than don't.

I meant good examples of guys that do put it together and top it

This thread stinks but is another great chance to point out KB hasn't "put it together" as we're saying nowadays.

I think you have it the wrong way around. The ones that do come in with heavy debut parts or disappear from public eye in their prime have a tendency to become memorable for it as the list isn't exactly huge compared to the amount of pros/ams there are.
