But lappers, copers, nose bones and tail skids aren’t?

because 99.9999999% of people who skate rails were born after 2000 and have no clue what those other things are.

Because those things have no use in contemporary skateboarding

I have a broken rail I like throwing on as a tail skid from time to time. I’ve seen people on Instagram make copers out of pvc, I think it’s all rad.

Bolt all that shit on your board and have a ball dude.  Invent something new and slap that on there too.

Who is judging you anyways?  I’ll have a talk with them if you want.

I wouldn't mind trying out a setup that has all of those 80s gimmicks attached.

My first set up was a Maui and Sons complete with all those bells and whistles in 91. I got kooked into oblivion and took them of real quick. Ever since I have refrained from mounting any plastic gear to my bloards.

i just set up a cruiser/slappy board with rails, but a normal setup i couldn't fuck with them.

I do remember back in the day i was getting a muska silhouette deck and joked about putting rails on, i walked away from the counter for a min and the kid put them on. I was heated

Have you tried them out?

I put them on a board once and they’re kinda sick.. you can slide longer, rad transition lipslides. Plus the noise your board makes on rougher ground made me smile it’s like a tractor haha.
You eat a good amount of shit too while adjusting cos they’re slick.

I eventually stopped using them mostly cos I’m lazy to unscrew / screw again but I wouldn’t bash them, they’re fun!
video tape yourself saving monks. dont just do it. make sure its caught on film.
