Looking to buy a new bag. I have a sling style bag but I’m not crazy about the access. Anyone have any recommendations? My only checklist includes waterproof and at least one body/ two lens/ and or flash compartments. Laptop slot would be great too.

I have the Chrome Industries Niko camera bag. It’s more water resistant with a tarp lining than waterproof. It also has two straps on the back to carry a filming board in addition to your regular setup
https://www.chromeindustries.com/product/niko-camera-backpack/BG-236.html?dwvar_BG-236_color=ALLB&dwvar_BG-236_size=NA&cgid=camera_bags
Camera sits in the top flip up section while another lens, flash, and camera accessories sit inside the main section of the bag. I’m not claiming to be a filmer or photographer though. I’m just some dude that loves skating and can sort of film/shoot it too

I've had quite a few bags over the last decade or two but the number one company I have used is Think Tank. A little bit pricey but they have a ton of options and they're all great quality.

I personally always prefer a camera cube that I can insert into a backpack. Makes it so where your camera bag can also carry everything else
But I mainly shot mirrorless (now just shoot with my Ricoh) so probably more doable
