When we first started working on that shoe, I told Brandon that the shoe is probably going to cost around $100, and his response was "How the fuck are kids going to afford this?" Him saying that made us realize his second project will have to be much more price conscious.

This. That sole he talks about designing for lakai was literally all I skated for late 2015 - early 2018. I love the 440’s as well and hope they never leave the NB# line.
