Different HVX200 model numbers: explained
« on: February 07, 2022, 02:58:32 AM »
So there is some confusion in up and coming filmers in regards to the HVX200 series. So to clear any confusion up I'm including a list of the different 200's out there and there differences.

HVX200 (NTSC)
HVX200E (PAL, Europe)
HVX200A (NTSC)
HVX201A (PAL, Europe)
HVX202AEN (PAL, Australia)
HVX203A (PAL)
HVX204AER (PAL, Russia)
HVX205A (NTSC, Japan)

HVX's ending with an "A" means it has an upgraded sensor. Which allows for a wider lens, better low light & better colour reproduction.

NTSC cameras shoot 24p, 30p & 60p. Whilst PAL cameras shoot 25p & 50p. America uses the NTSC standard, whilst Europe uses the PAL standard (check online to find out what your countries standard is)
