I recently ollied a 9, whats the highest you guys have gone?

I've only jumped a 7 regular a few years ago. I can only skate switch at the moment, ollied a 6 yesterday and found out I'm way less scared because I can bail/roll better when landing switch. So maybe I'm getting my score up soon.

I've probably ollied the heights of about 10-12 stairs though, but the distance is what scares me.

10 and it scared the shit out of me and was super sketchy. Stairs were super in at the time even if I didn’t like them.

I always hated stairs, always a manny/ledge/line kinda guy anyways.

Haven’t ollied anything bigger than a 3 set in over 15 years.

My stair count is wack I never was good at them. But I did a 5 that the landing was into an incline and it was weird not like a normal 5. Maybe as tall as a 6 but steep not long and into an incline at an old warehouse. But the longest I did an oversized 3 that was low normal 3 height but each step was around a board and a half wide. Give or take. I feel it was the hardest thing but I was just starting then and now I’m old and stairs worry me ha. But I’ve always been more into length than height.

9, im fucking over that shit though, it's not even fun.  If I buckle down and try to film something seriously I will probably try to do a legit flip trick down 10 or a gap of equivalent size, just for my pride. I cant imagine i would ever jump down anything bigger than 4 after that though. fuck jumping down things, shit sucks.

Young me jumped down gaps that were probably six stairs (one was just a drop, the other a large three block).

Old me 3 stairs tops so far. Would like to kickflip a 3 stair, one of my life skate goals.

in like 8th grade just ran and jumped a 19. Yelled Jackie Chan on takeoff and burst the bubble in my es cybers. I've got big spur things in my achillies pretty sure this contributed.

Had a little time where I figured out how to just Ollie down stuff did a 15 it fucking hurt to land as much as a slam. Probably barely jumped more than a 6 or 7 after.

Real answer: 10. It's also the reason I hate stairs too. Did two different sets of 10 a few times. The last time I did 10, I landed kind of weird with my back leg (Look at the way Trae "the Tank" Montgomery lands for reference) and my left knee has been shitty ever since (I think I was like 26 then). It was like 100 degrees, I had no shirt on, and my knee got wrecked. F that day

i really want to ollie a 10 because double digits but i can't find a 10 stair anywhere. smallest i found was a 12 but the steps are huge as fuck, it would be a 16 if they were normal size

when i was 14 i ollied down a wall (like a really steep bank) at the skatepark and that shit unlocked jumping down heights for me, after that i tried to ollie down everything, when i was 15 i ollied off a garage that was 3.5 meters tall. it's my favorite trick i've ever done

I'm prouder of doing a longish 3 flat 3 that stretched out and took more to commit. You had push hard and ollie high to make it happen.

mine is 13, the skydome 13 in toronto, its really long but not too high. not really sure though, i haven't seen many huge sets, except this 14 in Kitchener, but i didnt ollie it.

For just straight ollie, 13:/ for any flip tricks I usually tap out around 8-10. Then I can’t walk right for 2 days. Sometimes worth it lol.
