Help uploading videos on skatehype.com [Filmer info]
« on: February 19, 2022, 10:16:16 PM »
On skatehype.com there is some encoding options that you can not find anywhere, if you are a filmer, maybe you like to know a bit more:

Interlaced SD and HD video:
There is an option for every interlaced source (.dv or .avi from a VX1000, a DVD,...).
720x576 25i, 1920x1080 25i use "PAL 25i [->50p]"
720x480 29.97i, 1920x1080 29.97i use "NTSC 29.97i [->60p]"
Aspect ratio will be auto detected and resolution will be adjusted for a smooth 50fps / 60fps output (50fps for PAL and 59.94fps for NTSC). Advanced TV formats with inverted fields are also supported.

Progressive HD/SD video:
Should use "auto", platform keep high fps settings.

If you want to do it yourself you can encode a .mp4 for Internet at your own bitrate, ressolution and fps, should use "H264 AVC [DIY]".

The best choice could be just contact @admin by direct message or email [email protected] and use "Upload (send to admin)", don't hesitate to contact us, we like to watch perfectly encoded videos.
