Winter spot
This magnificent curb / manny pad is right behind my apartment. It was there when I started skating but then I only used it as manny pad because I could not slappy yet. Also, often cars were parked right behind it. Then the street was renovated and they dismantled the whole thing to my dismay. But as a phoenix from the ashes, once the street was finished, after many moons, they rebuilt it and even put that yellow signage on the blacktop behind so no more parking there. Good things come to those who wait.

Finally found a perfect spot since I've moved towns. It's well lit, in an area with almost no traffic and has nice scenery. Still have to break the curbs in, but it's getting there.

Good call. I thought it might be something like that, just figured I'd ask. It definitely blends in well. I doubt anyone would notice it wasn't part of the initial setup, good job.
Bellflower DMV is fenced and closed for renovations. Hopefully they just update the building and leave the curbs untouched.
