great part. the manual to backside flip to switch manual ender and the manual trick on the thumbnail spot (never considered skating that thing that way) were sweet. they've got that manual pivot / swivel method on lock.
the interview offers some good insight. "there’s a whole community who really wants to see this and it’s what gets them out and comfortable to be out and skateboard". that's huge.
growing up i remember reaching a point where skateboarding in my community got really serious (this was early to mid 2000s). pros / ams were regularly visiting for demos and the low key street sessions after were very very serious. you had your photographer from a mag, multiple filmers, hold your applause so you don't ruin the clip...
to watch unity kinda flip the script over the last few years (or many, i've lost track of time) and instead of holding demos all over, held sessions to invite people to join in and skate in a safe space, major props!
