If I'm being honest I think he's got the potential to be really good, but he needs the right people to steer him... Kinda like Mason getting in with the dlx crew. Take that crazy bag of tricks and athleticism out of the TF and put it to use on some crusty and interesting spots..
I feel like chasing a stair count record is maybe the jockiest thing a skater can do. I'm obviously going to watch it, but it appeals to the same part of me as UFC does. I just can't respect it the same way, maybe because I can't really relate to it in any way.
while i get what you are saying, i dont agree with you. im tired of seeing grinds on ditches and wallies, no complies and rough edgy spots. if there werent any guys like him out there still pushing tricks down famous spots skateboarding would become as boring as it was when that was all we cared about. i like him for the plain reason of him being a stunt man. do i need to love his fits and sponsors? hell no.
i just know i like the whole baker squad because of wilshire 15 and how they collectivly destroyed that stair while others also skated it.
last cool impact spot was probably that tripple set in downtown LA. loved to see pros making their signature tricks down that thing and see how far they could push it with good looking tricks.
would be cool if we had another 14-16 stair set and to see how far pros can go with tricks.
i dont skate impact shit at all so its nothing but entertainment.
i dont get why skaters always get so mad about that.
