I'm trying to transition away from direct care/ management in social services. I currently run two programs for homeless youth and the agency I work for has just roped me into grant-writing. I don't need the added responsibility and work-load but this could be the beginning of a new path for me... I'm aiming to work more behind the scenes, use some different skills and secure a flexible schedule with less vicarious trauma involved...
Anyway, anyone have experience with grant-writing as their main gig?
