Tv shows usually takes forever to get good or falls off badly, so here are my favorite stretches:

- The middle seasons of Game of Thrones

- The Simpsons during the Clinton administration

- Seasons 3 and 4 of the Wire

- The 2nd half of Breaking Bad

- The first half of Walking Dead season 3 (some excellent character study in these episodes)

- The entire run of Wondershowzen

- Entire run of Chappelle Show

- First two seasons of Boondocks

- NBA on TNT (Their takes on Basketball are a little old school, but Barkley is probably the most entertaining talking head in sports history)

My favorite episode of anything is a tie between “Imagination Land” from South Park, and “The Broodwhich” from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

I thought the first 3 seasons of Better Call Saul were pretty slow and tough to trudge through, but season 4 and 5 really kicked it into high gear.  Love seeing it slowly blend into the Breaking Bad timeline.  The desert episode reminded me of the Pine Barrens Sopranos episode.  Just finished season 5 and bummed I’ll have to wait another year or however long for season 6 to be on Canadian Netflix.

The Boondocks (Seasons 1-3) is a masterpiece.

The Larry Sanders show.

Hank Kingsley is probably my favorite comedic character ever.

For the longest time I thought Always Sunny was just like some vanilla 'how I met your mother' type sitcom because it was just about some people and their bar.

And then I watched it a few years back and geez I missed out for so long.

It's fucked up and hilarious and a great show that's a lot more original than I realised.

For the first couple years I thought the same thing. It would play at like 1-3am on commercial tv wedged between other bland sitcoms another of which was also set in a bar.

Also for another all time fav freaks and geeks. I think it's pretty perfect and altho it got cut short I think that kind of makes it better. Easily the best thing Apatow has ever been part of.

Ahhhhhh Freaks and Geeks was so fucking good. That show had so many future stars in it. I've definitely been in the mood a couple times in the last five years and will just binge watch it again in a week.

New show on Showtime called "Yellowjackets."

Really good.

A high school soccer team in the 90's crashes in a plane on the way to a soccer tournament and gets stranded in the wilderness. They survive for like 18 months before getting found.

The show jumps back and forth between that and present time to see how these girls are now because they are all kinda fucked in the head.

Imagine Lord of The Flies but with high school girls.

I'm right there with you, I started it as soon as it came out and after a while my interest waned.  Just came back to it flew through seasons 4 and 5 because they were so good.  I love Lalo Salamanca, such a great character.

Get hungry on it!

The actor that plays Lalo is the perfect villain…  I’ve enjoyed Mike’s arc the most so far.

Yeah he's great.  I love the way he switches back and forth from an indistinguishable American accent in English, to Spanish and vice versa in a single scene.

Get hungry on it!

Inside No. 9
Seriously watching masters at work. It's an anthology show so each episode is completely different and they are better than pretty much anything else. Every genre they do perfectly. Just watched the episode "loves great adventure" and it's a total fucking banger and completely different from every other episode they've done.

Most TV shows I watch is for the laugh.

The Office and Seinfeld is rolling heavy these days. Rick and Morty is awesome. I used to be into Southpark but I don’t really have the patience for it these days. Don’t know why.
Twin Peaks was good.
Then there was an animated series that used to be on Comedy Central that not a lot seems to know about, that’s called Ugly Americans. I find it absolutely phenomenal..
Then I watch Vikings on Netflix. I would have the Ragnar Lodbrog sagas read for me as bed time stories as a kid. Definitely not the same as Vikings in any way lol..
Christ airs, airwalks and darkslides

Surprised no ones said Ozark yet, the last season was really good. Season 6 of BCS is crazy too, I'm excited to see how it ends

Raised By Wolves is pretty sick. Strange but a pretty rad sci-fi show. Our Flag Means Death is one of my new favorites.
