I shot the thumbnail photo. Wish they used the other one below but any photo being used is an honor. I had this downtime with work last year so I would just hopped over to Pier 7 just to shoot photos randomly for fun. I had no idea who Kevin Braun was to be honest. On two separate occasions, I showed up and shot for like an hour of everyone there and left. I guess both times he was there when I was there, he got clips which is now in the video.

I get why people bag on SC, but at the end of the day - their checks never bounce, you get to travel the world, eat and stay in nice hotels, and you get the full sponsor package.  doesn't see like too bad of a deal if you ask me.  In fact, there's a few really good dudes on SC right now.

I would estimate these dudes make way more on the NHS package deal (well not Asta with Thunder) than they could being some random name on Real. SC can be cool if you just pay attention to the quality of their current riders not their history as being a "logo" brand that a lot of people wear. It's weird since Anti Hero and Thrasher are popular "streetwear" brands with like 15 year old girls that don't skate, but they're still accepted.

Get this dude on eS. He would fit in nicely with Wade, Marcus Shaw, TJ and the rest of the European riders.

I found this equally calming and invigorating. Wonderful part that came out of nowhere, like an unconscientious lover who neglected to say "when."

Just how I felt. Excellent part. Plus he currently has the ad of the sw fs flip over the rail into the large bank at China banks, he's been killing it, glad he's getting paid even if it's by Santa Cruz.

I always thought that too. Santa Cruz is that dependable job that pays well and will probably set you up when it’s time to retire with a job in the industry.. if you so desire.

Asta on Primitive and Adidas though… footage gold.

Holy shit that part was heavy. He destroyed that spot. Been a fan of his skating for a long time and seems like a solid cat off the board too. Glad he's getting Thrasher love with that part cause he deserves the shine.

Loved the footwork on the back noseblunt shove, but that may have not been him?

The quick switch bluntslide was great too.

yeah, I did enjoy it - I enjoy skateboarding and watching it.  There was nothing about it that I thought was horrible - it's a vid at ONE spot and he kinda destroys it, and doesn't have bad style.

you're definitely entitled to your opinion, but may I ask what it was you DIDN'T like?

Really enjoyed that. Pier 7 will always be fun to watch imo. I also remebered half way through that him and Ryan Lay arent the same person. For a second I thought Ryan Lay/Kevin Braun had put out two parts within a month.
