No it's an old Van's model and it doesn't say his name on it. It's not like he designed the shoe. What a stupid question

I loved this photo as a kid, cropped perspective and all. Had the poster on my wall.

I recalled the photo being cropped, but not as cropped as that version of the photo I first posted. Found the Vans poster version, and it definitely takes away the full perspective. Didn't matter much when I was 12!http://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/images1/1/0911/11/vans-mike-carroll-poster-skate_1_38cc0a34d6639ecc7ade25bef0a5942f.jpg (no clue why this link won't embed with the image tag... if you care to view)And yeah, I know the area. You have to be a literal billionaire to live on that street. No joke. I believe they refer to that street as Billionaire's Row, but that might be a different Pac Heights street. Close to those opposing curve ledges people were skating for a while 10+ years ago, which I always thought was crazy. Mansion spot skating.

Idealistically, I hope they did. Realistically they didn't. Carroll deserves any check he ever gets through this industry.
I;m sure i;m not the only dc/monster/subaru type guy here
oh my god i’m not fucking racist i’m not homophobic i’m not transphobic
Its bizarre to me the lengths skate shoe companies will go to develop new molds and designs, throw all this wild nonsense at the wall, then completely ignore a golden opportunity to make some significant coin on a coveted reissue they KNOW skaters will buy. The royalities (if thats the issue) really cant be that significant and I dont think there are many pros in 2022 that would be too demanding in regards to negotiations.
