As someone else on here has said something like clutch isn’t bad boards but I’ve only broken clutch boards. Granted I’m a bigger guy. And I rarely break boards but I’ve broken. 2 clutch boards in the  last 2 or 3 years. Landed on the tail broke it. My fault but hasn’t happened with nhs decks or bbs

I weigh 145lbs and broke 3 clutch boards in 1 weekend, 2 tail snaps and 1 in the center. Only times I've ever broken a board doing manual or ledge tricks.

I used to ride for a board company that went under before switching wood shops and know for a fact they were going to charge them $9 a board. You get what you pay for in the case of clutch. That being said, this is almost 3 years ago. Maybe things are different now, but it's a burn me once type of thing for me.

Thank God Skate Mental uses BBS and not Clutch now.

I know for a fact that $9 a board is BS

I am an old, so it’s no surprise that I break decks pretty rarely anymore these days.
That said: the only deck I’ve snapped in the last couple of years was a blank Clutch Z4 shape.
Happened about 45 minutes into the 1st session on it.
I loved that shape for those 45 minutes though, so when I saw they had pressed up some more blanks in that shape I went right ahead & preemptively shot myself in the foot by picking up not one, but TWO of this same (seemingly) jinxed deck, because as well as being an old, I am also a dumb, who doesn’t learn from his mistakes.
Fool me once, shame on me.
Fool me twice, SHAME ON ME AGAIN.
Oh well… by my calculation, I may have just paid a touch over $60 for approx. one & a half hours of skate pleasure.
Could def be worse. At least they’re blanks, so lots of real estate to plaster these extra @PuffinMuffin SLAP stickers all over.

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me.  You think you got me?

Adrian is really sick, hopefully he's getting on something bigger. My first thought was Alltimers, he's been friends with the Dime squad for a long time.

Then I read the comments on IG and someone mentioned a guy that works for dwindle so maybe he's getting on Almost...

I guess if all things were equal then I’d rather have Staba as a boss than a lot of other people in the industry. Something tells me he’s not breathing too hard down these dudes necks. Might be nice to get to just do your thing, film some shit for Instagram and turn in footage for an Aunt Tammy every few years.

Lol I don't think so. I don't even remember saying that but I'm guessing a dumb joke based on what he looks like going fakie.

Skate Mental must have had some kind of outside investment come in recently. They’ve added quite the team while switching to BBS wood. Sleeper company for sure.

Nike SB must have forgotten about them for a period of time because that company was languishing for most of the mid to late 2010’s.

I went to supreme in LA a month ago and they had Skate mental boards there. I didn't know that the cool kids liked this brand. It could be an indicator that something has changed in peoples perception since they sell it together with FA etc.

*complete speculation out of my ass.
Maybe Dwindle is starting a new super team á la Madness, but street. Appeal to the cool guy Quasi/FA market.
